Team Leader / Associate Manager

Business Unit Overview
Defined Benefits, Health & Welfare Operations and Implementations group supports business partners in the US in servicing corporate / institutional customers in benefits administration vertical. This involves moving the customers to the Fidelity platform and supporting their on-going record-keeping needs. This is done through a series of processes, both technical and non-technical, that helps a customer to use our products and services. 
Role Description
  • Manage delivery as per the  service level agreements
  • Ensure all operational reports are accurately produced and published on time
  • Drive and maintain rigor around operations processes
  • Build and maintain an excellent business relationship with the internal and external partners
  • Effectively manage client priorities and escalations
  • Assess training needs  and build a development plan for associates on the team
  • Conduct effective performance reviews and provide feedback
  • Contribute towards hiring efforts of the team
Candidate Description
List of skills required
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent people management skills with experience of managing  teams of 10 – 15 associates
  • Good knowledge in performance management practices
Behavioural Attributes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users
  • Strong attention to detail and judgment

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline
  • 2 – 3 years of people management experience
