Q: How long does the hiring process take?

While it varies from role to role, most people have at least two rounds of face-to-face interviews; the first with recruiting and hiring managers, the second with the team. Most posted positions are available immediately, but the hiring process can vary greatly in length and depends on several factors, including the skills needed and the number of qualified candidates.

About the Interview
Q: I have an interview. What can I do to prepare?

"Come prepared to market yourself," says one FMR India recruiter. "Instead of just listing your strengths, describe what you have accomplished as a result of those strengths. Cite specific examples."

FMR India's interviewing process involves multiple rounds of interviews which includes technical and HR rounds. This means our recruiters and hiring managers will ask about specific professional situations you've been in and your accomplishments. For example, if you mention that you're efficient, you'll be asked to provide examples from your work history that illustrate this.

Q: Any suggestions on preparation?
  • Review the job description to determine how your background applies
  • Be prepared to cite examples of your key professional accomplishments or related academic work
  • Familiarize yourself with the content of your resume
  • Ask a friend or colleague to help you practice
  • Read some basic information about Fidelity's culture, history, companies, etc.
  • Ask your recruiter for more information about the business unit you'll be interviewing with
  • Prepare a list of questions that you can bring to the interview.
Q: If I don't get this job, can I continue to apply for other FMR India positions?

Yes. Our positions are updated regularly. You may find that a new opening may have a better fit with what you are looking for.

After you Get In...
Q: What are the working hours?
