Scrum Master/SA/Tech lead

The Webservice  team is part of the Workplace Investing (WI) Technology group.  Our team is responsible for new and enhanced design and development of application areas across WI.  Our primary focus is to provide data for different channels through the webservice. As a Software Engineer, you will focus on both front end and back end technologies, working directly with both technical and business stakeholders to translate a vision and designs into sustainable business solutions. You will be responsible for the development of complex software applications, ensuring they are built with quality, consistency to our standards, performance and responsive to the device accessing the application.

The Purpose of Your Role

As a  individual you will be responsible for the creation of quality .Net application design  software components that are used by Fidelity’s retail and workplace customers.  He/She will work closely with the project manager, systems analysts, architects, and other manager to design, build, test, and deliver the features that make up Fidelity’s internet experience.  He/she will be expected to provide guidance and mentoring to the other developers on their projects.

  • You know Scrum team handling
  • Knowledge on Database DB2 and Oracle.

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5-9 years of experience
  • Good to have experience in the financial services industry as well as web facing technology delivery.
  • Proven strong experience of software processes, development lifecycle methodologies such as Agile, across complex technology initiatives.

  • Articulate scrum principles, communicate and help the squads to contextually apply those principle for continuous process improvements
  • Meet the service expectations stated below towards Squad Leaders, Squad and to the organization
  • Define the minimal viable product working with the tribes and coordinate with the squad for timely delivery
  • Remove impediments for and with the team approaching the appropriate contacts and processes
  • Collaborate with other scrum masters to improve the efficiency in scrum adoption in the organization
