Job Title – Senior Manager/Team Leader – Voice & Video Services

The Purpose of This Role
 

The Individual we are seeking to hire is a techno-functional manager with well-honed, deep expertise & passion for coaching and developing people. The Team lead will work closely with the Product Team leads, Product Owner, and other Stakeholders to deliver and enhance Business Outcomes. By role modeling and promoting Fidelity and Agile leadership behaviors, you will create and sustain an innovative agile culture.

  • You will enable Team members by coaching and developing them so that they achieve their full potential
  • You should be a trusted Manager within the Team.
  • You are Responsible for the Operations & Support Escalations.
  • You will work closely with the Product Team Leads and the Team Members to review the Team Focus Areas, Epics, Stories, and support on the timely Delivery of these.
  • You will work closely with the Team Leads, Stakeholders and derive the Team Objectives, Team and Individual Develop and Discover Goals.
  • You are responsible for the Performance & Talent Management for the Team.
  • You are responsible to influence Strategic decisions and solutions to the Team’s future based on your expertise and experience
  • You will build the future ready talented associates within the Team and work with them closely towards building full stack skills and innovation culture
  • You will support and communicate relevant IT governance policies, procedures, and processes

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical/Behavioral

  • You have deep Understanding & Experience on Communication Manager, On-prem or Cloud PBX/Telephony systems, Multimedia Rooms, and Streaming Solutions.
  • Strong Knowledge of SIP, TCP/IP protocols, SBC, PSTN, ISDN, PRI, RTSP, HLS and AV components.
  • Knowledge on administration, maintenance, replacement, configuration backup and restoration of VCS, MCU’s, core visual communication components, including Cisco Telepresence endpoints, gatekeepers, and management software (telepresence management suite) 
  • Expertise with Windows 2008/2012 and Linux/Unix operating systems – Windows 2012 and RHEL or OEL preferred.
  • Knowledge on Active Directory, Single Sign-On, Networking, Load-balancing concepts.
  • Must be flexible to Manage Escalations during Off-US Business Hours.
  • Working experience in Agile – Scrum / Kanban methodology.
  • You have a proven track record of managing associates from hiring, onboarding, skill development & upgrade, career progression and performance management
  • Excellent Communication and Inter-personal, Leadership and Collaborative skills, combined with solid experience in the listed areas
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Creative, energetic, assertive hands-on professional who enjoys the challenge of change
  • Executive presence and organizational leadership capabilities in line with Fidelity leadership principles

The skills that are Good to Have for this role

  • Knowledge on AWS, Azure Cloud Platforms
  • Scripting knowledge on PowerShell/Python/JAVA Scripts, Nest JS is an added advantage.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • Graduate
  • 10+ years of Experience in IT
  • Min. 5+ years of Experience in People Management
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban Practices
  • Certifications on Networking/Windows preferred
