 Job Title – Manager – Testing & Reporting Services

Develop and Drive Process Improvement through system and process enhancements

The Purpose of This Role

Workplace Investing (WI) – Testing and Reporting Services (T&RS) provides year-end financials and Non-discrimination testing reports to plan sponsors and auditors. Assists plan sponsors to file Form 5500 with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Department of Labour (DOL). These processes are interdependent, involves multiple business process systems and workflows and keeps evolving as per changing customer needs and Regulatory requirements.

In your role, you would lead the facilitation of discovery sessions across multiple teams, document complex business processes for targeted processes and own the adoption / implementation activities associated with new solutions within the business.

You would drive technology integration working with cross-functional teams and business units to understand, challenge and provide solutions through business and technology transformation and may also involve design and improve/ Re-engineer to improve process performance.

The Value You Deliver

  • Understanding process procedures and deliverables, 401K regulatory requirements, evolving customer needs and Identifying process deviations, gaps and improvement opportunities based on mining of transaction-level data and other feedback / survey responses

  • Working with process owners and technical teams to understand the business priorities and requirements and align the possible solutions

  • Collaborate on projects to simplify / automate processes with various interventions from developing Business case, design, MVP, writing test cases for UAT, aligning process controls to implement for driving Efficiency and Effectiveness

  • Ongoing efforts on system improvements to meet changing regulatory requirements

  • Improving various data slices by using BI tools, Macro, SQL Queries, and other internal systems for the use of stakeholders

  • Delivering key business analysis artifacts, using standard methodologies and tools, for the design, solution, test and execution of projects

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years’ experience in Workplace investing / Financial services

  • Proficiency with MS Excel, VBA, SQL and BI tools

The Skills / Expertise that are Good to Have for this role

  • Semi-technical with functional exposure

  • Experience in Workplace investing / 401 K / Defined contribution related services

  • Project Management Experience

Testing and Reporting Services (T&RS) provides plan sponsors and auditors with year-end financials and non-discrimination testing and also assists the plan sponsor to file Form 5500 with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Department of Labour (DOL). You would be part of the team working on multiple processes of the above and deliver results / reports to Plan sponsors (Clients) within stipulated deadline to help meeting their regulatory requirements. Your contribution on improving process performance would help the team to be efficient and updated to the evolving needs.

Location: Chennai

Shift timings: 1:00 pm – 10:00pm
