Job Title – Senior Specialist -Tax

The Purpose of This Role

  • This role will be part of FMR India Tax function.

  • This role manages the various tax and regulatory compliances for FMR India and support the larger tax team on the tax planning/strategies.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the Tax and Regulatory compliances for FMR India.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical / Behavioral

The role is in the Tax space and will need to work under the Tax and Regulatory function and below are the broad responsibilities.

  • Reporting and reconciliation of various GST periodic filings, reports.

  • Manage the invoicing, movement of goods process like preparation of Invoices, Delivery challans, e-way bills

  • Support on various income-tax periodic filings, submissions for regular audits / assessments

  • Support US Corp Tax on WHT compliances required under US laws for overseas payments

  • Coordinate with Treasury for all tax payments, invoice collections,

  • Support supplier invoice coding,

  • Support STPI, SEZ, customs periodic filings, coordination with CHA vendor

  • Manage periodic Compliance reporting

Technical / Behavioral

  • Basic understanding and having working knowledge on direct and indirect tax laws

  • working knowledge on managing the direct /indirect tax filings, reporting, compliances.

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Prioritization and planning skills. Deadline oriented.

  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
