Role Description:

This Bangalore based position is to head 3-4 scrum teams for WI Digital Platforms development team based out of Bangalore locations.

Role involves leading a team responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining numerous platforms, applications and tools on Web Technology and Mobile Technology.

This role requires leader to have strong software development experience, ability & skills to motivate, energize and develop team to meet business and technology objectives by collaborating with US partners and offshore stakeholders. As a key member of larger WS Platform team in India, following are some of the key responsibilities:

  • Must Have : Full Stack Java Development Experience

  • Delivery responsibility for Offshore Digital Platforms team.

  • Developing Strategy, Setting Priorities to meet business and technology objectives by collaborating with US partners and other key stakeholders.

  • Provide technical guidance on web, mobile, emerging technologies, Agile, CI-CD.

  • Ability to provide technical leadership to the teams

  • Motivate, energize team to meet priorities, perform key roles and develop them for the future.

  • Build a culture of Innovation, Identify efficiency opportunities.

  • Strong people management skills

  • Responsible for status updates to various stake holders on the health of individual projects & engagement.

  • Build and maintain the relationships with cross functional teams.

  • Step into Super Tech Lead/Architect responsibilities for one Key area depending on the need

Candidate Description

  • Strong Technical Delivery Management & Leadership experience

  • Ability to manage large teams across locations

  • Sound stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to set direction, define strategy through collaboration & execute the same

  • Developing the team on emerging technologies, methodologies and Tools to achieve business objectives

  • Strong SDLC background and experience

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff, management and other internal business partners

  • Great attitude, being a mentor, team player and effective contributor

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer science or any other discipline

  • 16+ years of overall experience in IT

  • 5-6 years experience in managing large delivery teams with successful, quality deliverables.
