Job Title : Lead – Software Engineering – Java Full Stack

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will collaborate within and across squads to produce high-quality, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code. You will participate in, own and lead all phases of the development process, from conception to deployment as a member of an agile, cross-functional team. You will demonstrate leadership and maintain a continuous technology progressive mentality.

The Purpose of Your Role

A FullStack Engineer with expertise and experience in designing and developing applications including new developments, enhancements, maintenance, and production support. This will involve developing Domain / Data APIs, AWS Lambda and batch applications on Snowflake database to support Institutional Sales and Marketing business for Client Servicing, Reporting and Analytics use cases.

  • You will work collaboratively as an integral member of the team, with Tech leads, Architects, Squad Leads and other members in the organization, demonstrating ownership of your deliverables.
  • You demonstrate passion for technology and financial domain through your ability to learn quickly and adapt to newer technology trends to be fullstack.

The Skills that are Key to this role

  • API development and good understanding of technologies like Java 8 or higher, Spring boot, Spring Batch, REST, myBatis, Git, Maven/Jenkins
  • You have worked on Docker containers, Kubernetes [ preferable EKS]  
  • DevOps and Cloud Computing (AWS) exposure (CloudFormation, EKS, EC2, S3, SNS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Data Dog)
  • You have experience in analyzing data and dealing with data using SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of building cloud native applications. Deploying and debugging cloud applications.
  • You enjoy working on different technologies to solve business problems
  • You are ready to adapt and learn new skills.
  • You can readily adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • You enjoy learning new technologies, data analysis, identifying data patterns and trends
  • You can do Analysis, Design, Estimation and Development of the database components
  • You have Strong communication skills to manage various stakeholders in India as well as in US
  • You know Unit Testing
  • You know Job Scheduling Technologies
  • You know Build Technologies (Maven/Gradle)
  • You know Version Control System (Git/SVN)
  • You know Agile methodologies or iterative development processes
  • You have Acceptance test-driven development a plus

The Skills that are Good to Have for this role

  • Exposure to Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks & Streams.
  • You have knowledge in ETL
  • You have understanding/experience in building and supporting Analytics use cases.
