Job Title – Senior Lead

The Purpose of This Role

The Fund Research Analyst will work closely with the broader Fidelity Institutional Wealth Advisor (FIWA) Investment Office team; playing a vital role in contributing to the investment performance of the team.
FIWA Investment Office represents the intellectual investment capital for Fidelity Institutional. FIWA is the Intermediary focused Investment Adviser supporting the Fidelity Institutional Platform and Practice Management efforts. Five teams within FIWA Investment Office report to the Deputy Chief Investment Officer including Investment Relationship Management, Thought Leadership, Capital Markets Strategy, Fund & Manager Research, and Portfolio Engineering.

The Value You Deliver

•Deep knowledge of multiple asset classes and investment structures including Liquid Alternatives

•Understand the portfolio construction process of both Fidelity and competitor funds.

•Provide due diligence and analysis of investment management firms

•Provide investment oversight for portfolio construction processes

•Prepare internal and external facing research reports pertaining to the coverage of mutual funds, separately managed accounts and model portfolios

•Monitor, measure, and attribute portfolio risks and returns

•Should have strong fundamental and technical analysis skills

•Should be well versed in quantitative financial modelling and experience with quantitative tools for Equity Attribution, Fundamental Factor Risk Analysis and Macro Factor Risk Analysis

•Strong qualitative, quantitative, programming, and database skills with the ability to think analytically, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively

Technical / Behavioral

•Post-graduate with specialization in Finance from top-tier B-school.
•Additional qualification of CFA is desirable.
•At least 5 years of relevant experience in Fund Research, manager selection or quantitative financialmodelling
•You should possess excellent communication, presentation and writing skills and be able to clearlyarticulate research findings.
•This role requires someone who is hard working, hungry to learn and achievement- and results-oriented.
•Outstanding track record of partnerships with senior stakeholders and enabling data-driven decisions

BU Overview Analytics, Research & Development (ARD), a part of FMR India, is a consulting and insights team that enables business leaders at Fidelity Investments to make informed decisions. The team uses a combination of business & investment research, advanced analytics, decision sciences and AI to solve business problems at the operational, tactical and strategic level. The group houses top talent, with most of the associates having a post graduate degree or PhD.
