Job Description:

Performance Delivery (PD) COE Senior Managers (Principal) design and improve operating and management systems with agile domains and business functions using leading practices and solutions to achieve our partner’s strategic objectives. Operations Excellence identifies and executes these opportunities by building partnerships, connecting improvement opportunities to strategic business objectives, applying sound business management and quality principles to drive improvements, and ensuring that the change is sustainable.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • Seven years or more of business design, redesign, or improvement experience
  • Proven success at leading and delivering results for ground-breaking projects that drive strategic change and growth
  • Financial services or benefits outsourcing industry experience is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
  • Advanced & applied knowledge of core operations management concepts such as Six Sigma, Transactional Lean, and Total Quality Management, Innovation & Problem Solving
  • Practical technical acuity indicated by:
    • Knowledge of application development and deployment lifecycle to appropriately scope and time impact
    • Experience scanning for and applying third party software solutions to tackle business problems (e.g., business process automation, natural language processing, data solutions, web applications, etc.)
  • Experience delivering solutions to data-based problems (e.g., data sourcing, transformation, integration, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written) and experience facilitating large, cross-functional design or strategic working sessions including issue, option, and resolution framing
  • Agility in adapting to new and changing business areas and taking initiative to drive projects forward in a sophisticated, cross-functional working environment
  • Ability to partner across the organization to influence all levels of management and peers through personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of effective presentations
  • Drive automation and unlock business insights through data-based problem solving and decision-making
  • Curiosity to learn and uncover the root of exciting and often ambiguous business situations through respectful questioning, research, and investigation
  • Strong business value analysis and financial modeling skills including experience in areas such as cost analysis, value frameworks, data analysis, critical thinking, modeling, or data flows
  • Validated experience leading projects or programs and coordinating teams to deliver value using agile and traditional methodologies
  • Advanced process design, redesign, and improvement experience including evaluating current state, assessing customer needs, and using customer journey and persona insights
  • Experience implementing sustainable change by making the case for change, defining success, building capabilities, and influencing others
  • Comfort in communicating unbiased recommendations and creative/innovative solutions to senior leaders that may challenge conventional wisdom

  • Performance Delivery Senior Managers are involved strategically and tactically throughout the life of a project from idea generation through full execution for medium to high complexity projects
